When to use it
Charities, fairs, drives, events: the problem isn't finding volunteers, it's knowing who's there when. Multiple-choice slots hand you the rota without rebuilding it from messages.
Three things that help
- Time slots as multiple choice, not free text: «whenever I can» produces twenty different answers that can't be counted.
- Keep «what can you do that might help» open: the useful skills are never on the list you had in mind.
- Ask for consent to be contacted now, not on the first phone call.
